The history of the Hotel Quic en Groigne

In the heart of the corsair city, the ramparts and the cathedral aren't the only things that tell the city's story. For nearly a century, the Hôtel Quic en Groigne has been an integral part of the city's setting.

Quic en Groigne, a unique name paying homage to Duchess Anne of Brittany, recalls the rich heritage of Saint-Malo. Built in the 1920s, the hotel once housed a guesthouse. Miraculously spared from the bombings of the Liberation, it remains one of the few remaining witnesses to that era.

Even today, our 3-star hotel in the heart of Saint-Malo continues the tradition of hospitality and conviviality.

Staying at the Quic en Groigne means enjoying a charming hotel within the city walls while immersing yourself in the living history of Saint-Malo.
